A New Arrival

This little one was dispatched out into the big bad world last week.

Actually she went to live with my niece in Gatley but it doesn't quite scan as well! She's called Thea, again, after the little girl who is destined to love her but she'll answer to any name beginning with "T" providing you're holding a tasty treat in your hand!

If you look closely, you can see the beginning of a waggy tail waiting to happen!

Houdini Hens

They must have been hatching (excuse the pun) their escape plan for weeks; in fact ever since they were put under house arrest.  All they were waiting for was the numpty egg collector to have a senior moment and out they popped through the egg collecting hatch this morning.  I came down to the kitchen to fix Oliver some breakfast before sending him off to school and there were Paula and Brenda Chicken seeing to some serious lawn aeration! Pam must have been a late starter as she was still tucked up in the roost, presumably wondering where draft was coming from!
